Job Description
The Preconstruction Director supports construction teams from contract award through project mobilization. This position is responsible for assisting with project setup activities, including staffing coordination, project setup, budget development, financial forecasting, subcontract formation, and other preconstruction deliverables required to transition projects into successful execution. They work closely with operations, project management, safety, quality, finance, contracts, procurement, and corporate leadership to ensure projects are planned, staffed, budgeted, and positioned for successful execution. This role also supports improvement by reviewing project deliverables, creating standardized templates, and evaluating internal construction processes for efficiency and compliance.
