Glue Reel Operator

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for operating the Auto Glue Reel and/or hand operated Glue Reel in a high-end furniture environment.

Essential Duties:

• Set-up and operate Auto Glue Reel and hand operated Glue Reel, as required
• Inspect parts for quality, identifying & separating defective materials
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous glue reel experience preferred
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Ability to identify wood species such as maple, mahogany and ash preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to walk, stand, climb, stoop, twist, push, pull and bend over the course of 8 hours.
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 75 lbs.
