What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and manage acute surgical patients
- Assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of emergency surgical care
- Support pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative management
- Respond to emergent surgical consults and inpatient needs
- Collaborate closely with attending surgeons and care teams on complex cases
- Ensure timely documentation, communication, and continuity of care across shifts

Work Experience
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with active Maryland licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience in acute care, emergency medicine, surgery, or inpatient hospital-based practice strongly preferred
- Comfort working in high-pressure, rapidly evolving clinical environments
- Strong clinical judgment, procedural aptitude, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered surgical care
