The Manager of Operations in the Health Care plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services within healthcare facilities or organizations. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operational activities, optimizing resource allocation, and implementing policies that enhance patient care and organizational performance. The Manager of Operations collaborates closely with clinical and administrative teams to streamline processes, improve service quality, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. By analyzing operational data and leading continuous improvement initiatives, this role drives both short-term and long-term strategic goals. Ultimately, the Manager of Operations ensures that the organization meets its mission to provide high-quality, accessible, and compassionate care to the community it serves.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in healthcare operations management across multiplications or a similar leadership role within the health care industry.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality assurance processes.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, staff, and complex projects in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Certification in healthcare management such as Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare data analytics.
  • Demonstrated success in leading change management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with social assistance programs and community health partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily operations across multiple departments to ensure seamless service delivery and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that comply with healthcare regulations and promote best practices.
  • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and procurement processes to optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders and administrative teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare detailed reports for senior leadership to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Coordinate with external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies to support operational goals and maintain organizational reputation.
