La Mesa RV A family owned and operated company, La Mesa RV was founded in 1972. Our original location was in La Mesa, California. We have recently relocated to Phoenix, AZ. La Mesa RV is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to manage the procurement of operational items across the organization. This role is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure all departments have the materials they need to operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase and manage inventory of equipment and related operational items for all La Mesa RV locations
- Research, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast supply needs to prevent shortages or overstock
- Process purchase orders and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance
- Collaborate with department managers to understand purchasing needs and budget constraints
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and budget guidelines
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement purchasing efficiencies
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and purchasing/inventory systems
- Ability to analyze pricing and vendor performance
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in multi-location purchasing is a plus

Work Environment
On-site position based in Phoenix, AZ. Office-based role with occasional coordination across multiple La Mesa RV locations. May require interaction with warehouse or service departments.
