Job Description
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time; 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM
Thursday – Saturday
This position is responsible for:
Under the direction of the Workforce Development Program Manager, the Housing Monitor performs a wide variety of functions to ensure the support, safety, security and well-being of the Turning Point Center participants and the physical building to assure compliance with established Salvation Army policies and procedures. Incumbent serves as over-night point-of-contact for participants, answers telephones, monitors receptionist desk and security cameras.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Duties are usually performed seated with brief periods of standing or walking. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, lifting and carrying (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts, occasionally work may be performed off-site and can be associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. AND
- Six months of experience working in a residential setting. AND
- Additional higher education in a social services or related field, OR
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Bon-a-fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ):
This position requires a biological female.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Driver’s License and must meet TSA MVR Requirements
