The Warehouse Operations Specialist is the key on-site resource for our new Linwood bulk plant and warehouse facility. This hands-on role is responsible for the day-to-day execution of all warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and facility maintenance. The Warehouse Operations Specialist will serve as the operational backbone of the Linwood location, ensuring safety standards, quality controls, and efficient processes are maintained at all times. This individual will work closely with the General Manager and is expected to demonstrate the leadership, initiative, and ownership mindset necessary to grow with the operation as it expands.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
• Execute daily picking, packing, and fulfillment of packaged orders accurately and efficiently
• Unload inbound freight and load outbound freight, verifying shipments against documentation
• Maintain organization of inventory including proper rotation of product and monitoring of stock levels
• Oversee re-packaging processes to comply with DPQA standards
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards are upheld daily
• Complete and submit all required paperwork and documentation daily
Inventory & Receiving
• Process and count new inventory upon receipt; verify accuracy against purchase orders
• Assist with daily and monthly inventory counts; support month-end inventory submissions
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly
• Maintain organized storage areas and clearly labeled product locations
Safety & Compliance
• Adhere to and actively enforce all warehouse safety procedures and protocols
• Conduct routine safety inspections and immediately address or escalate hazards
• Operate powered lift equipment (PLE) in a safe and compliant manner
• Ensure proper handling and storage of lubricant products per regulatory and company guidelines
• Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of continuous safety improvement
Fleet & Equipment Support
• Assist with fleet maintenance activities and basic upkeep of warehouse equipment
• Report equipment issues, malfunctions, or maintenance needs to the General Manager promptly
• Support asset tracking and help maintain accurate equipment maintenance records
Customer & Team Interaction
• Assist customers at the facility in a professional and service-oriented manner
• Communicate proactively with the General Manager regarding operational issues, supply needs, and priorities
• Demonstrate ownership of the facility and take initiative to identify and resolve issues independently
• Serve as a positive representative of the company at the Linwood location
Requirements
Experience & Skills
• Minimum 3 years of warehousing or bulk plant operations experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating powered lift equipment (PLE); current certification preferred
• Experience with inventory management processes and cycle counting
• Proficient computer skills; experience with inventory or warehouse management systems a plus

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly
• Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
• Must be able to work in varying weather and temperature conditions
• Must be comfortable working in an industrial warehouse and bulk plant environment
