
Clinical Pharmacist - Inpatient Acute Care Services (Nights, 7 on 7 off)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and clinically driven pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care during the overnight hours.
This role follow a 7-on/7-off schedule and is responsible for medication order verification, responding to bedside clinical needs, and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Provides clinical pharmaceutical care to a variety of patients

- Supports the educational and professional development of the Pharmacy department.
- Engages in professional self-development.
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s in Pharmacy or Pharm. D Degree required.
- Experience: PGY-1 residency required or equivalent hospital experience. (3.years). PGY-2 residency is preferred for specialty areas.
- Licensure/Certifications: Commonwealth of Virginia State Board of Pharmacy. License required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider. BLS certification required
Physical Demands – Job requires sitting for prolonged periods; Repetitive motion: typing. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull < 20lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

Background checks and pre-employment health screenings will be conducted on all new hires prior to employment. All safety-sensitive positions with direct patient interaction also require a drug screen.
The starting base rate for this role is $133,889.60 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.Benefits
