Job Description
We are searching for an Intercompany Specialist who will be part of the Record to Report – Intercompany (RTR-IC) Team and will directly report to the Accounting Team Leader.
Key Tasks
- Perform intercompany activities in line with RTR (Record to Report) processes
- Manage and execute intercompany reconciliations with all DHL entities, ensuring full monthly reconciliation and balance alignment
- Maintain active communication with global DHL offices to resolve intercompany differences and discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve intercompany variances, ensuring proper root cause identification and corrective actions
- Prepare and post intercompany journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and alignment with accounting standards
- Support month-end closing activities related to intercompany transactions, in coordination with GSC
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of intercompany balances and related reporting
- Monitor and control intercompany aging balances, ensuring prompt resolution
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and ensure sustainable reconciliation quality
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong command of MS Office applications (especially Excel); experience with CargoWise and ERP is a strong asset
- Very good level of English (verbal&written)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- High level of analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Resident in Istanbul
- For male candidates, no military service obligation (completed or exempt)
