JOB MISSION:

The Production Associate is a member of the Global Content Factory Creative team responsible for art-directing studio photography; both product and marketing shoots. This role reports to the Global Content Factory manager in Amsterdam. This person is responsible for ensuring quality is to the highest possible standard, working closely with Production, Photography, and Freelance talent. This position is required to be in the studio five days a week.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Art direct photo and video shoots — briefs, shot lists, on-set direction — with an uncompromising eye for image quality and brand coherence.

  • Translate brand strategy into visual storytelling that connects with a global audience.

  • Responsible for art direction and styling while guiding freelance talent on-set for all photography and video deliverables.

  • Provides on-set guidance to hair, makeup, and styling freelancers.

  • Responsible for on-set image selection, and GlobalEdit exports/selects.

  • Ensures that all products are stylized and captured to the New Balance Brand Playbook standards.

  • Collaborates with Production, the Photography team, and the Studio Assistant to translate the creative vision and define standards, quality, and deadlines.

  • Keeps track of current, developing, and evolving regional and global trends in fashion and design.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Relevant number of years of fashion and art directing experience.

  • Retail or Brand styling experience is preferable.

  • Capture One software experience.

  • Experience with the Microsoft Suite.

  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
