Job Summary
Gaston Electrical is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who is responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of a small, active warehouse supporting field projects. This role is hands‑on and working‑level—responsible for coordinating materials, tools, deliveries, and limited staff supervision to ensure projects are supported accurately, safely, and on time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming material deliveries (vendors, UPS/FedEx, LTL freight) and notify Project Managers of arrivals
- Stage, store, and label materials clearly by project and delivery status
- Load & Unload Gaston’s truck/vehicle(s) for each day’s rounds.
- Route and schedule orders for delivery
- Maintain accurate tracking of materials in Warehouse App, returns, excess stock, and job clean‑outs
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe on a daily basis
- Provide day‑to‑day direction to warehouse staff (typically 1-2 employees)
- Assist with training new employees on warehouse standards, safety, and procedures
- Complete all paperwork and documentation in accordance with established guidelines.
- Escalate issues related to performance, safety, or workload to manager
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the warehouse, purchasing, and project teams
- Communicate clearly and promptly regarding deliveries, delays, shortages, or discrepancies
- Support process improvements to improve tracking, organization, and efficiency
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs or more with the assistance of warehouse equipment; operate forklift truck.
- Fill in when driver is on vacation, out sick or as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse, materials, or logistics experience (construction or electrical industry preferred)
- Prior lead or supervisory experience required
- HS degree or GED required
- Forklift experience required (certification/training required)
- Capable of lifting heavy boxes up to 50lbs
- Knowledge of electric hand tools and the electrical industry preferred.
- Knowledge proper methods of storing equipment and materials.
- Ability to follow processes and established guidelines set with the manager
- Ability to work comfortably on the computer and ability to learn new software
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Compensation Range: $66,500 to $86,500/year
Other Compensation: bonus eligible
