About Your Role:
We are seeking a Site Maintenance Coordinator to join our team, playing a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability and performance of fixed plant equipment onsite. This role will be based at our Bassendean Maintenance Facility.
Reporting to the Site Facility & Technical Manager, you will coordinate maintenance activities across site, balancing planned and reactive work while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
This is a hands-on coordination role where you’ll work closely with operations, contractors and technical teams to drive safe, efficient and continuous improvement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate preventative and breakdown maintenance to optimise plant availability
- Investigate equipment failures and implement sustainable solutions
- Plan, schedule and track maintenance activities using SAP or similar system
- Manage contractors onsite, ensuring compliance with safety and governance requirements
- Maintain accurate records across maintenance systems and registers
- Support capital works, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor and report on equipment performance and maintenance outcomes
About You:
You are a proactive, solutions-focused maintenance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.
- Experience in maintenance coordination, planning or asset management
- Background in manufacturing, rail, heavy industry or similar
- Strong working knowledge of SAP or equivalent maintenance systems
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A strong commitment to safety, accountability and teamwork
Qualifications:
- Trade or engineering qualification (electrical/mechanical preferred)
