
Telecommunications Operator - PART-TIME/ON-SITE
Job Description
Essential Job Function:
- Serves as a first point of contact for incoming internal and external calls to ensure patient information is delivered quickly and accurately.
- Supports the operation of communication systems, including telephone switchboard, radio, and emergency notification systems.
- Contacts individuals regarding calls through paging or interoffice equipment to connect appropriate resources to related problems.
- Relays emergency messages received with written or verbal messaging to provide context to those supporting the emergency situations.
- Utilizes technology to complete data entry or word processing tasks, including updating directories and typing or proofreading documents.
- Assists in logistical arrangement of schedules for internal stakeholders in order to coordinate meetings and staffing.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Required: 1 year.
