Job Description

The Role

The successful candidate will drive outcomes and support in all aspects of the project commercial and contract functions, including but not limited to:

    • Commercial management of vendor packages, including management of variations, EOT and daywork claims and record keeping;
    • Perform cost control and reporting duties for end of month reporting and client reports;
    • Attend weekly subcontractor and client meetings, representing Civmec’s commercial interests as required;
    • Assist in contractual communications to clients, including notices of delay, extensions of time etc;
    • Provide support to the project team in the preparation of relevant notices within designated timeframes;
    • Notify clients of any issues, special circumstances or breaches of contract;
    • Liaising with subcontractors to ensure all relevant insurances are current and legal (i.e. workers compensation);
    • Revise and retain contract registers highlighting payment conditions payment claims; and
    • Maintain company standards of documentation and records for Quality Assurance purposes;
