The Role
The successful candidate will drive outcomes and support in all aspects of the project commercial and contract functions, including but not limited to:
- Commercial management of vendor packages, including management of variations, EOT and daywork claims and record keeping;
- Perform cost control and reporting duties for end of month reporting and client reports;
- Attend weekly subcontractor and client meetings, representing Civmec’s commercial interests as required;
- Assist in contractual communications to clients, including notices of delay, extensions of time etc;
- Provide support to the project team in the preparation of relevant notices within designated timeframes;
- Notify clients of any issues, special circumstances or breaches of contract;
- Liaising with subcontractors to ensure all relevant insurances are current and legal (i.e. workers compensation);
- Revise and retain contract registers highlighting payment conditions payment claims; and
- Maintain company standards of documentation and records for Quality Assurance purposes;
