PURPOSE:

Responsible for delivering actionable insights on network performance, competitive positioning, and market dynamics to support Sales, Customer Experience, and M&A decision-making. Leverages RF expertise and advanced analytics to inform investment strategies, optimize portfolio performance, and identify growth opportunities across PTI’s markets.

FUNCTIONS:

• Analyze RF performance data (coverage, capacity, and user experience) using crowd-sourced analytics platforms to assess network quality and identify gaps. 
• Support technical due diligence for acquisitions, partnerships, and commercial opportunities, including evaluation of spectrum assets, infrastructure, and network KPIs. 
• Develop comparative market analyses to benchmark network performance and highlight risks and opportunities. 
• Support planning and budgeting processes by modeling site demand and network investment priorities. 
• Integrate RF data with geospatial, demographic, and economic datasets to generate comprehensive insights. 
• Produce reports, dashboards, and executive-ready presentations to support strategic decisions. 
• Conduct competitive and churn analyses to assess market positioning and customer experience trends. 
• Monitor spectrum utilization, equipment configurations, and 5G deployment across the portfolio. 
• Perform audits related to unauthorized RAN sharing (UDEs) and ensure alignment with contractual frameworks. 
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, M&A, and Operations to align technical insights with business priorities.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

Position works in a normal office environment. Standing, sitting, and walking required daily. Job minimal will involve travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. 
• 3–6+ years of experience in RF engineering, network planning, or performance analysis. 
• Experience with crowd-sourced analytics platforms (e.g., WePlan, Tutela, M2Catalyst or similar). 
• Strong understanding of LTE, 5G, and spectrum management principles. 
• Proficiency in GIS tools, including ArcGIS. 
• Experience supporting business development, sales engineering, or M&A activities preferred. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
• Ability to translate technical data into clear business insights. 
• Fluent English required; Spanish required; Portuguese is a plus. 
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and manage multiple priorities.
