Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful execution of low-voltage system integration projects from kickoff through closeout. This role manages the planning, coordination, scheduling, financial performance, and customer communication for projects involving structured cabling, audio visual (AV), CCTV, access control, DAS, wireless infrastructure, and other technology systems within the Public Sector vertical (Federal, SLED, Higher Education)
The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact between customers, field operations, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with customer expectations.
This individual oversees project documentation, labor forecasting, procurement coordination, change management, installation progress, and risk mitigation while maintaining strong relationships with clients and field leadership.
Successful candidates typically have strong operational leadership, a solid understanding of the low-voltage industry, financial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects while driving accountability across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Conform adhere to all responsibilities within the Operational Guidelines throughout the phases of: Presales, Planning, Delivery, Closing, and Post-Installation.
- all aspects of project plans to ensure milestones, timelines, and budget targets are met.
- Monitor Risks and initiate necessary Proactive and Corrective Actions
- Manage Change Control and Procure change orders
- Manage Vision team and/or subcontractors/vendors to ensure timely and high-quality work.
- Monitor and drive the quality assurance process during all phases of the project.
- Continuously expand / farm existing Accounts for additional opportunities to introduce other Vision services. Look for new opportunities with new clients that enable Vision to provide cabling, A/V, security, Wireless/DAS, and/or network infrastructure services.
- Aligning all contract documents (PO, Contract, Proposal, PnL)
- Proper billing schedule
- Understands the critical importance of both customer experience and customer service.
- Proactive and professional communication with internal and external customers.
- Effective working in team situations as a contributing or leading member.
Qualifications
- College degree or AA preferred.
- PMP Certified or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent fluency with project management methodologies.
- Excellent PC skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledgeable in one of the following areas: structured cabling, Audio-Visual, Access Control, CCTV, Wi-Fi, or DAS.
- Ability to travel as needed locally
Base Salary- $80,000-$120,000.
Please note that this job posting includes base salary information for the assigned target market range within the primary geographic region where the requisition is posted. If the position is posted in multiple locations or is a remote position, the salary range may vary. Individual pay rates will, of course, vary depending on the skills, experience, certifications, specific licenses, internal equity, and education of the applicant.
Certain roles may be eligible for other compensation such as bonuses, car allowance, cell phone reimbursement, and tuition reimbursement.
