Manager-Retail Credit

We have an exciting new opportunity to oversee the operations of our Retail Credit Team. Reporting directly to the Head of Credit Operations, the purpose of this leadership role is to drive a high performing team culture; leading our Retail Credit team to success whilst adhering to our business compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

· Lead and coach a team of Retail Credit Analysts

· Ensure local policies and procedures are reviewed regularly, in line with Global Credit Rules

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key senior stakeholders, to ensure an excellent level of service to our customers, dealers and outsourced fleet partners

· Identify credit risk opportunities to assist with product growth and maximize company revenue opportunities

· Promote a strong compliance culture within our organisation

· Ensure team KPIs are met and regularly reviewed

· Lead and implement effective post-mortem analysis, developing and implementing data-driven strategies to optimize the credit portfolio and minimize future risk

Setting you up for success in this role is your demonstrated experience in constructing well-balanced and logical analysis. You work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and would thrive in the opportunity to grow and lead a high performing team.

A deep and current understanding of the entire Retail Credit lifecycle is essential. This includes comprehensive knowledge of Australian lending legislation, such as the National Credit Code (NCC), obligations under an Australian Credit License (ACL), and broader compliance requirements, including AML/CTF and other legislative standards. A tertiary qualification in Business/Finance or a related field is preferred.
