Strategic Business Partner

Procurement, and Suppliers into a cohesive ecosystem that delivers capability—not just capacity.

supplier maturity, and create scalable talent solutions aligned to MBRDI’s long-term strategy.
Role Purpose
Evolve suppliers from transactional staffing vendors into trusted capability partners aligned to
business priorities.
This role sits at the intersection of Business and Suppliers, proactively shaping demand,
improving skill deployment, and ensuring predictable, high-quality talent delivery.
The SB Partnership Specialist is a talent strategist, system disciplinarian, and performance
integrator.
Core Mandate
• Proactively plan upcoming demands with Business
• Improve skill utilization and redeployment before fresh hiring
• Ensure system and data hygiene across FG / S4
• Elevate supplier maturity from compliance → capability → partnership
• Solve structural issues, not transactions
Key Responsibilities:
Business & Talent Partnership
• Work closely with Business Leaders to anticipate demand 60–90 days ahead.
• Challenge JD clarity, skill requirements, and deployment assumptions before roles are
released.
• Enable skill redeployment across projects before approving new demand.
• Bring workforce intelligence (availability, skill adjacency, cost, supply risk) into business
conversations.
Supplier Performance & Governance
• Own structured supplier scorecards across:
o Profile quality
Speed of response
Compliance & documentation
Data accuracy
Bench readiness
Lead disciplined monthly and quarterly reviews with clear improvement actions.
Reduce JD–profile mismatch through structured intake calibration.
Manage supplier concentration and risk exposure.
Enforce PO, rate, and documentation discipline.
Proactive Demand & Skill Deployment
• Monitor bench availability across suppliers and internal pools.
• Drive redeployment before release wherever feasible.
• Identify skill adjacencies and alternative fulfillment paths.
• Improve first-time-right submission quality.
System & Data Hygiene
• Ensure clean master data alignment (Vendor, Role, Cost Center, PO).
• Reduce rate mismatches and PO discrepancies.
• Eliminate manual workarounds through process discipline.
• Track recurring system errors and drive structural fixes.
• Improve demand-to-PO data consistency to reduce financial variance.
Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving
• Identify recurring friction in sourcing, onboarding, or billing cycles.
• Lead root-cause resolution across SBP, Suppliers, and Systems.
• Improve workflow discipline using structured review cadences.
• Escalate systemic risks early—not after escalation.
Market & Talent Intelligence
Stay informed on:
o Emerging skills
o Rate movements
o Talent scarcity trends

Post Graduate/ MBA in HR or Operations Management
