Students who will be returning to high school for further studies will be prioritized based on their resume submission date for any open positions that can accommodate 2-month terms (July and August).
Returning students will be given first priority, followed by children of employees. Non-immediate family members and friends of employees will be given secondary
The employment and reporting relationships of children/relatives of employees while be managed as per the VC code of conduct guidelines.
Applicants must be available to work the full term required by the hiring manager.
A maximum of two (2) weeks unpaid vacation will be allowed during the summer term and should be disclosed at the interview whenever possible.
All students will be assessed at the end of their work term and any student with an unsatisfactory rating will not be considered eligible for future student
