We are looking for our newest team member to join the well-established Laboratory.  

The Role: 
 

We’re looking for a dedicated, full-time Sample Receipt Officer to join a supportive team with a strong focus on client services and teamwork to ensure successful submission of samples for our laboratory. 
 
Leveraging your strong customer service skills and attention to detail, you'll engage with internal and external stakeholders via phone and email, with a commitment to exceeding client expectations. 
 
This is a Fixed-Term covering Parental Leave. The working schedule will be Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00. 
 
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships whilst ensuring prompt, professional communication and effective resolution to queries. 

  • Receive samples from clients and couriers; sort and label a variety of food samples with strong accuracy. 

  • Register samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for lab analysis. 

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful sample submissions. 

  • Market ALS services and assist them with method selection and technical guidance. 

  • Perform investigations as needed. 

  • Monitor and prioritise laboratory projects.

  • Planning and project monitoring skills. 

  • Proficient in numerical and office software. 

  • Team-oriented with good problem-solving abilities. 

  • Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems is a plus.
