Job Description

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the country in which the role is being hired. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Mark43’s mission is to empower communities and their governments with new technologies that improve the safety and quality of life for all. We build powerful, scalable, and elegant software that sets a new standard for the tools upon which our first responders rely. Our users are diverse, and we are therefore committed to embracing diversity of thought and experience within our team.

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our CAD (Computer-Aided Dispatch) team. In this role, you will help shape the systems that dispatchers and first responders depend on during critical moments. You will own and evolve key product areas within our CAD platform, driving execution from idea through launch and iteration.

This is a highly execution-focused role where you will work closely with a dedicated engineering team and partner cross-functionally with design, sales, implementation, and customer success. You will play a key role in delivering intuitive, resilient, and high-performance workflows that help agencies respond faster, coordinate more effectively, and operate with confidence in high-pressure environments.

As public safety operations continue to evolve, you will also help define how emerging technologies such as AI-powered decision support, real-time video streaming, and operational analytics are integrated into mission-critical workflows, helping agencies gain greater situational awareness and make faster, more informed decisions.

What You'll Do

If you were part of our team, here are some things you would have done last week:

  • Owned the roadmap and execution for one or more CAD workflows such as call intake, unit recommendations, dispatch operations, real-time incident management, or situational awareness capabilities

  • Partnered closely with your engineering team to deliver reliable, responsive, and scalable web-based experiences for dispatchers and field personnel

  • Worked directly with customers including dispatchers, supervisors, command staff, and technology leaders to understand operational pain points and translate them into product improvements

  • Defined requirements and product strategy for AI-driven capabilities that improve call triage, recommendations, information retrieval, and operational decision-making

  • Collaborated with engineering teams building real-time video streaming and multimedia capabilities that help agencies access critical information during active incidents

  • Leveraged product analytics and operational data to identify trends, measure customer outcomes, and prioritize investments that improve agency performance

  • Collaborated with sales, implementation, and go-to-market teams to support new launches and customer adoption

  • Prioritized and refined the product backlog using customer feedback, operational insights, analytics, and business goals

  • Balanced new feature development with the operational work required to improve system performance, resiliency, scalability, and usability in mission-critical environments

What You'll Need

We're looking for a Product Manager with 4–7+ years of experience building and shipping software products, ideally in enterprise SaaS, real-time platforms, or operationally complex environments. This level of experience is important given the ownership of mission-critical workflows, the need to independently drive execution, and the complexity and urgency inherent in CAD operations.

  • Proven ability to own and deliver product areas end-to-end with a strong focus on execution

  • Experience working closely with engineering teams in a collaborative, one-team environment

  • Comfort partnering cross-functionally with sales, implementation, support, and customer stakeholders

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience building workflow-heavy, real-time, or operational products; public safety experience is a plus

  • Experience or strong interest in AI, machine learning, or decision-support systems and how they can be applied responsibly in operational environments

  • Familiarity with products that incorporate video streaming, multimedia workflows, computer vision, or other real-time data sources is a plus

  • Experience using analytics, experimentation, and operational metrics to guide product decisions and measure impact

  • A data-informed mindset with the ability to make thoughtful, customer-driven decisions in complex environments

People who thrive on our team also tend to share the following characteristics:

Humble, open, and curious. You seek out different perspectives and use them to build better products that serve a diverse set of users and operational needs.

Communicative and collaborative. You proactively engage with customers, stakeholders, and teammates to build alignment and shared understanding across fast-moving initiatives.

Capable and driven. You take ownership, follow through on commitments, and push work forward even when navigating ambiguity or competing priorities.

Calm under pressure. You are energized by solving complex operational problems and can thoughtfully prioritize in environments where reliability and speed matter.
