The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Expert is responsible for developing, managing and supporting the Exyte Group safety and environmental policies and programs. This person will collaborate with Environmental Health & Safety team members, business units, and facility leaders on program development, oversight, and implementation.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation on EHS matters to management and project teams.
- Implement and ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Organize and execute health, safety, and environmental programs to promote safe behavior.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits, and manage adverse event investigations.
- Develop and implement EHS campaigns and strategies.
- Lead contractor EHS onsite audits and participate in project evaluations and environmental audits
Show your expertise
- Several years of EHS experience in major industrial, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
- Successfully completed education/studies as Master/ Technician / Engineer
- Teamwork proficiency across diverse cultural backgrounds and hierarchical levels.
- Formal EHS qualification (e.g., SiFa, Nebosh, Safety degree).
- Very good German skills, good English skills
- Willingness and ability to travel and stay on site over longer time-period
