Job Description
The General Manager External Communication primary role is to protect and enhance the reputation of MTNSA by:
Managing, coordinating and implementing external communication strategies in optimal ways to best meet MTNSA’s board set of stakeholders’ expectations.
Providing strategic direction in the management, generation, development, writing and editing of a variety of electronic and printed content, including press releases, newsletters, executive briefs, and the annual report for MTNSA.
Proactively monitoring issues and regularly interlocks closely with business units, stakeholder management, HR and brand marketing.
Manage the relationship with delivering agencies.
The General Manager - External Communication reports to the Executive: External Communications (Group & MTN SA).
