Job Description

Position Summary

We are looking for a candidate that will join our team as a Payroll & Accounting Specialist .

The Payroll & Accounting Specialist is responsible for payroll processing, time and attendance management, workforce administration and benefits policy implementation. The role includes responding to employee inquiries, maintaining accurate employee records and files and supporting employee relations activities. In addition, the position provides support to the HR department as needed.

The role also supports day-to-day and month-end accounting activities.

The Payroll & Accounting Specialist works in close collaboration with the Finance and HR team across the Iberia region, contributing to the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of financial and payroll operations.

Duties

  • Process end-to-end payroll for employees in “Filosoft” system, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations and maintain organized records of payroll transactions and employee compensation.
  • Manage employee data, including hires, leaves, terminations, attendance, salary changes, and benefits among others.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to internal stakeholders and local authorities. Ensure compliance with statutory filings (tax, social security, etc.) and assist in the analysis of HR data.
  • Handle employee payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure that Travel & Expense policy and procedures is implemented, reviewing and approving T&E reports.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, supporting GL activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Complete assigned document requests for internal/external auditors timely and accurately.

Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll roles.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and labor/tax regulations.
  • Experience with payroll software and ERP system.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Specific Work Preferences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in multinational or complex payroll environments.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles

Compensation

In line with our commitment to transparency and equal pay, we provide the following information:

  • Salary Range: €22,250 - €28,533
  • Bonus: This position is eligible for corporate bonus.
