This role combines strong analytical leadership, technical capability, and commercial judgment to structure complex problems, independently build scalable solutions, and deliver fast, decision-ready insights that drive profitable growth.

The position plays a critical role in scaling commercial finance capabilities, improving speed and quality of insights, and supporting the continued growth and evolution of the organization.

What You’ll Do:

 1. Commercial Performance Ownership

  • Identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities early and drive actions with Sales
  • Translate data into clear, decision-ready insights

  • Synthesize inputs across functions to create a cohesive view of commercial performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Ensure alignment between demand, supply constraints, pricing strategies, and financial targets
  • Engage cross-functional partners, including Demand Planning, FP&A, Pricing, and Strategy/Market Intelligence, early to shape decisions and drive coordinated action, not just report outcomes

4. Reporting, Tools & Process Scale

  • Own and evolve commercial reporting (sales, profitability)
  • Design scalable frameworks that improve speed, consistency, and accuracy
  • Independently build and enhance dashboards/reporting solutions (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Drive automation and standardization to reduce manual effort

5. Customer & Demand Insights

  • Lead analysis of inventory, ordering patterns, and true demand (sell-to vs. sell-through dynamics)
  • Quantify impacts on revenue timing and forecast accuracy
  • Partner with Sales to reduce volatility and improve ordering discipline

6. Structured Problem Solving & Execution

  • Quickly structure ambiguous business questions into clear analytical approaches
  • Independently deliver high-quality, decision-ready outputs with speed and efficiency
  • Operate end-to-end with minimal direction

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Advanced degree, e.g., MBA, preferred
  • 5-8+ years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or sales finance, with demonstrated ability to independently structure and deliver high-quality analysis in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required; strong hands-on experience building dashboards and reporting solutions (Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects) highly preferred
  • Proven experience partnering with Sales or commercial teams
  • Track record of delivering timely, decision-ready insights and improving reporting or analytical processes
  • Experience in publicly traded and/or manufacturing environments highly desired
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, dynamic business environments preferred
