Job Description

Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Planning & Purchasing Supervisor. 

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company.  We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027.  The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices.  If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

What you’ll do:

Primary Function:
Ensure timely availability of materials and efficient execution of the production plan by integrating purchasing, materials planning, and SIOP processes, balancing customer demand with internal and supplier capacity to meet On Time Delivery, inventory, cost, and service objectives.

 

Essential Functions:

1    Lead and execute the plant SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process.
2    Balance customer demand with manufacturing and supplier capabilities
3    Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with business requirements.
4    Ensure execution of purchasing strategies aligned with cost, quality, and service objectives.
5    Monitor supplier capacity and delivery performance to ensure compliance with the production plan
6    Track purchasing KPIs and develop preventive action plans to mitigate supply risks.
7    Execute the MRP process ensuring optimal inventory levels and material availability
8    Define inventory strategies (safety stock, buffers, and strategic inventories).
9    Coordinate with Production, Customer Service, Logistics, and Finance to ensure sales plan execution
10    Lead and execute the plant SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process.
11    Balance customer demand with manufacturing and supplier capabilities
12    Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with business requirements.

Qualifications:

Preferred Education Level:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or specialized degree in planning/logistics/ purchasing. APICS preferred. 

Years and Area of Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years Supply Chain experience / 2 year´s of experience in a leadership role
  • Manufacturing background 
  • Understanding of SIOP process. Knowledge of Excel and SAP experience. Experience working in ISO/IATF environments.
  • Fully bilingual

Soft Skills:

  • Administrative skills (organizational and time management). Problem solving and cross functional skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Results and detail oriented.
  • Accountability, effective communication, teamwork, and initiative.
