Job Description
- Manage the day-to-day operational and process improvement activities for material demand planning.
- Generate a monthly forecast of the materials needed to support the procurement of all networking equipment across the organization as well as build new cross-functional processes to expand the material demand planning pipeline across new areas.
- Work closely with Network Operations Supply Chain (NOSC), NIE (Network Space and Power team), and Technical Infrastructure Finance to support fulfillment against the forecast as well as root cause analysis for variances against metrics to define and implement improvement programs.
- Work closely with Network Designers, Network Engineers, NetOps Supply Chain (NOSC), TI Finance to manage NPI transitions, support budgeting and procurement as well as risk management.
- Partner with network engineering and field deploy teams to increase efficiencies from within the organization.
