International Road Maintenance Specialist

Qualification:

The candidate shall have at least 10 years of experience in maintenance and renewal contracting, preferably including experience in small island developing states (SIDS). The candidate shall be fluent in English and shall be skilled in report writing.

Job Description:

The candidate will be responsible for assessing current maintenance and renewal practices and needs, and preparing improved maintenance and renewal contracts for roads, bridges and jetties in Fiji. The candidate shall have a master’s degree or higher in civil engineering or other relevant fields. The candidate shall have relevant experience with road maintenance and renewal contracting and shall have demonstratable experience with the preparation and implementation of performance-based contracts and other contracting modalities for road maintenance.
