Job Description
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Plan, coordinate and direct the processing of steel wheel production and the Inspection & Finishing Department on all shifts and maintenance of equipment to meet quality and quantity objectives. The Processing Manager reports to the Operations Manager. Reporting to the incumbent are the respective production and maintenance supervisors, Wheel Inspectors, and hourly staff per shift. Responsible for 40-55 (4-6 direct) headcount. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Supervise, direct, control, improve, plan, coordinate, and direct the hot wheel processing, Inspection Department and maintenance of the steel wheel operation on all shifts to meet quality and quantity objectives. Plan, schedule and direct the processing, inspection and maintenance work to avoid production delays.
