The Consumer Loan Issuing Manager is responsible for the daily supervision of the Consumer Loan Issuing Unit. Work is characterized by considerable independence in the day-to-day operations of the unit, to include funding loan applications, employee management, and assisting in the development of functional enhancements for the unit. Work requires communicating with the membership, PSECU employees, external specialists, vendors, and other financial institutions.Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. Onsite minimum of two days a week.
In this position, you will
Loan Management: Responsible for all functions related to consumer loan issuing and funding, and ensuring all required reports are produced accurately and timely.
Operational Oversight: Manages the daily operation of the unit, including workflow, employee allocation, and member contact. Also, responsible for testing updates in the test and production environment and reporting issues promptly.
Employee Management: Manages unit employees, including hiring, training, developing, evaluating, and disciplining. Provides training to develop the technical skills of all employees.
Process Improvement: Employs continuous process improvement for unit efficiency and effectiveness, which includes developing, implementing, and monitoring operational processes and procedures.
Member Relations: Resolves concerns/problems from members and other individuals, counsels them on PSECU policies and procedures, and provides problem resolution.
Communication and Planning: Keeps the Lead Manager of Consumer Loan Issuing and Servicing advised of unit status, disseminates information through appropriate channels, assists in the development of unit goals and objectives, and serves as primary backup manager for Consumer Loan Servicing Unit.

Qualifications:
Bachelors (Required)Any equivalent combination of experience and education. | Required Three years’ experience in Lending in a supervisory capacity in an organization of comparable size and complexity. | Required
