The Assistant Branch Manager supports the Branch Manager in leading branch operations, ensuring exceptional member experiences, and driving growth in deposits, loans, and service ratios. This role supervises daily activities, maintains compliance with credit union policies and regulatory standards, and fosters a consultative sales culture. The Assistant Branch Manager plays a key role in talent development by coaching and mentoring staff, promoting engagement, and creating a positive work environment. Responsibilities include guiding operational efficiency, resolving member concerns with professionalism, and connecting members to technology and self-service options. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills to balance operational oversight with strategic growth initiatives. The Assistant Branch Manager serves as a resource for staff and members, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and alignment with PSECU’s mission to deliver superior service and financial solutions.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:50am -4:15pm.  This position will be a 100% onsite.

In this position, you will

  • Operational Oversight: Supervise daily branch operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to PSECU standards and security procedures.
  • Member Engagement: Drive member satisfaction through lobby engagement and consultative service, connecting members to technology and self-service options.
  • Growth Initiatives: Assist in achieving branch goals for deposits, loans, and service ratios through effective sales strategies and member education.
  • Talent Development: Support hiring, coaching, and development of branch staff through performance plans and ongoing feedback.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Problem-Solving: Address member issues with creativity and sound judgment, maintaining a positive member experience.
  • Coverage: Provide support for other departments/functions as needed within the scope of the position.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associates (Required), Bachelors

4-6 years’ experience in a position requiring similar knowledge, skills, and abilities. | Not Required Any equivalent combination of experience and education. | Required
