Description
For the Infor ION Common Services team we are looking for a highly motivated and result-driven sr. Software Engineer (SE).
You will be responsible for translating high level requirements and designs into solid detailed designs, building robust software including extensive unit tests and analyzing and fixing incoming defects.
You will work in an international team of motivated people, consisting of other software engineers, business analysts, architects and QA engineers. This team is not only located in Hyderabad but is also in Barneveld (The Netherlands).
We are currently in the process of breaking up our product into multiple smaller micro services. Although we are looking for a backend engineer, our team is also building the UI parts of the solution so a full-stack engineer is more than welcome to apply.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Build robust software solutions
- Create related unit tests
- Investigate and fix reported issues
- Do code reviews for peer developers
- Mentor junior software engineers
- Minimum of 5 years of Java experience for technologies in a fast-paced environment
- Strong object-oriented software systems design and architectural skills
- J2EE development experience (J2EE, JEE, Spring); Experience with JDK 1.8 and up, SpringBoot, Maven, Git, REST API principles, JSON, and mapping frameworks
- Expertise in enterprise-grade persistency (e.g. Hibernate, HQL, JPA)
- Experience and understanding in designing and developing software while applying design patterns and object-oriented principles
- Experience with Development tooling (e.g. Git, Maven, Jenkins, Jira)
- Considers and treats Unit testing as intrinsically part of the daily work
- Analytical, accurate and result driven
- Proactive problem solver
- Good communication skills in English (written and oral)
- Team player
- Experience with and enjoys working within an international agile development environment
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master technical degree, preferably Computer Science or other technical education
