Smart Automation Expert

We are looking for a new colleague in Smart Production department at our location in Częstochowa. 
 
Your tasks as Smart Automation Expert:

• Evaluate, implement and standardize robotic and collaborative robotic (cobot) solutions within manufacturing operations;
• Develop concepts for AI-enabled physical automation, autonomous material flow and human-robot collaboration in manufacturing environments;
• Implementation of technical analyses including feasibility studies, definition of target achievement, as well as implementation of smart automation solutions;
• Definition of KPI in the production system (target, automation level, regional work contents, wage inflation simulation);
• Support deployment of industrial robots, cobots, mobile robots (AMR/AGV) and mobile manipulation systems across global production sites;
• Contribute to the roadmap towards autonomous manufacturing by integrating robotics, AI, Industrial IoT and advanced automation technologies;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation technologies;
• Develop and maintain automation standards and best practices for the organization together with Product Line heads;
• Research and evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions to enhance automation capabilities (e.g. physical AI technologies);
• Assess emerging AI-powered robotic systems including autonomous manipulation, adaptive robotics and next-generation autonomous systems;
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards for new automation.

Your profile as Smart Automation Expert:

• Successfully completed course of studies in business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable field of expertise;
• Initial professional experience in the area of project management or automation within the context of production desirable;
• Familiarity with industrial robot programming and integration platforms (e.g. ABB RobotStudio, FANUC, KUKA KRL, Yaskawa, Universal Robots, ROS2) is highly desirable;
• Experience in robotic simulation, offline programming and digital commissioning is an advantage;
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
• Strong communication skills, high level of analytical skills, and fun in cooperation in interdisciplinary teams;
• Excellent written and spoken English skills as well as willingness to travel internationally;
• Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies, such as Industrial IoT, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence;
• Familiarity with programming languages and automation software are valorized such as Python, C++, and Siemens TIA Portal;
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards related to automation technologies;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
