Job Description

Job Description:

DEXIS is looking for individuals who work their best, help others, and commit to helping us improve our customer lives and celebrate the difference in others.

Who is DEXIS and why should you join the team?

We are the leading manufacturer and distributor of innovative dental imaging equipment, software, and solutions. We offer meaningful work through innovation, diverse opportunities, and career progression.

Where are we?

Situated on the southern edge of the Lehigh Valley and easily accessible from northern Philadelphia suburbs and the surrounding areas, the Quakertown facility is our North American hub for the design and manufacturing of leading dental imaging devices and software.  The facility has a growing, energetic, and diverse mix of professionals spanning engineering, operations, regulatory and quality backgrounds that work collaboratively in the fast-paced medical device field.  A friendly and open atmosphere helps to foster strong personal and professional relationships across the organization.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

We offer competitive pay and bonuses, comprehensive benefits starting Day One, and a generous 401(k) match. You’ll enjoy paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and strong leave programs that support you and your family. Our state‑of‑the‑art facility features an on‑site fitness center, café, outdoor patio, employee lounge, and EV charging—plus a culture that values community involvement and employee appreciation.

The Opportunity

We build regulated software and connected devices that clinicians depend on. That only works if someone owns delivery — holding together R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Product, and the market — without becoming the bottleneck.

About the Role:

In this role you will take ownership of the delivery of the entire system surrounding our 2D software and IoT portfolio — ensuring teams execute from concept through commercial launch and into post-release. We're looking for someone who owns results end-to-end, not someone who manages the process around them. This role carries full delivery accountability — not a facilitation or coordination function. You shape how the team works as much as what it ships. You build systems that outlast you.

You operate at the intersection of agility and rigor. Every stage gate, design and development record, and V&V decision lands well-prepared and well-timed — because you made sure it did. You hold the triple constraint: on time, on specification, on cost.

You ask challenging questions. You close loops others leave open. You drive outcomes through the team — not around it.

What You Will Own:

  • End-to-end delivery. Orchestrate cross-functional, multi-site teams through the full product development lifecycle — concept to commercial launch. Hold the triple constraint: on time, on specification, on cost. Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and cross-team alignment across concurrent projects without adding overhead.
  • Team protection and execution. Shield engineering from unstructured interruptions. Ensure every request arrives clear, scoped, and ready to execute. Use RACI to distribute ownership clearly and drive issues to closure. Manage vendor and partner relationships with the same discipline.
  • Compliance and audit readiness. Drive the design control process — design and development records, risk sequencing, validation planning — as the primary delivery interface to QA/RA. Represent project activities during internal and external audits. Ensure launch readiness is embedded in delivery planning from the start, not bolted on at the end.
  • Product depth and post-release ownership. Develop enough understanding of the 2D software and IoT portfolio to challenge V&V adequacy, assess solution feasibility, and partner with Product Management on direction. Own post-release escalation, triage, root cause support, and the feedback loop into future development cycles.
  • Continuous improvement. Drive delivery excellence through Envista Business Systems (EBS) culture and tools. Identify and lead improvements that increase flow, predictability, and documentation quality — including applying emerging tools like AI to how the team plans, documents, and delivers. Challenge the status quo — constructively.
  • Wear the Hat. Jumping in on whatever the program needs.

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or other technical discipline.
  • 8+ years in new product development
  • 3- 5 years leading cross-functional teams preferred
  • Agile Delivery Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Program Manager with cross-functional team experience in a regulated software or medical device experience
  • Familiarity with FDA 21 CFR Part 820/Part 11, ISO 13485, IEC 62304 or other regulated industry. You can hold agility and compliance together without sacrificing either.
  • Comfortable in technical discussions without being the domain expert. Experience with software and IoT solutions development strongly preferred. You challenge assumptions and validate completeness — not just timelines.
  • Experience with both Agile and waterfall/phase gate methodologies. SAFe, PMP, or PgMP certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
  • Proven at improving delivery systems, not just managing them. You drive clarity in ambiguity, federate teams without authority, operate with urgency, and take personal ownership of outcomes
  • This role will require 4 days per week on-site in Quakertown, PA
