Compensation: $17/hour

Schedule: 25 hours/week. Mornings preferred, but schedule may be flexible for the 
right candidate. This is a temporary position for summer 2026.

Description: 
Our residential summer camps accommodate over 700 staff members and campers 
(aged 7-16) each week from mid-June through late August. The primary role of the 
Maintenance Assistant is to assist the Maintenance Directors with the general 
upkeep of Camp’s grounds and facilities which include more than 50 buildings over 
300 acres of forests, fields, and freshwater ponds. We are looking for an individual 
with great work ethic to help us provide the best experience possible to our guests. 

Responsibilities and duties: 
The Maintenance Assistant will report directly to the Maintenance Director. The 
primary duties will be to conduct the daily cleaning and upkeep of our bathrooms, 
cabins, and program spaces that is necessary each morning to maintain a high 
standard for our guests. This will include cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and 
mopping indoor spaces, collecting trash, mowing lawns, raking, and the ability to 
handle small issues such as clogged drains, leaky faucets, changing lightbulbs, 
broken door hinges, etc.

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail while completing cleaning tasks
• Ability to relate well to others and work effectively in a group setting.
• Must possess the attributes of patience, flexibility, initiative, organization,
responsibility, and a strong work ethic.
• Preferred: 21+ with a driver's license
