Job Description

Colt provides network, voice and data centre services to thousands of businesses around the world, allowing them to focus on delivering their business goals instead of the underlying infrastructure.

Why we need this role

Responsible for order placement, coordination activities, and internal handling associated with OLO (Other Licensed Operators) coordination operations. As part of OLO coordination tasks, collaborate with various internal departments to submit requests to carriers and carry out coordination activities in line with customer requirements. Additionally, accurately and promptly record and update (including deletions of) handled information in internal databases.

What you will do

  • Order Management
    • Place and cancel orders for circuits and related services with various carriers
    • Submit requests to lease and terminate in-building cabling at data centers
    • Arrange cable installation and removal within buildings with carriers and building-designated vendors
    • Register, update, and delete accounts on data center portals
    • Handle access requests for entry into data centers
  • Coordination Activities
    • Coordinate schedules with carriers, building-designated vendors, and data centers
    • Conduct negotiations and confirmations with carriers and data centers
    • Respond to inquiries from carriers and data centers
  • Internal Operations
    • Collect and analyze historical performance data
    • Share information with internal teams
    • Review and archive completion documents for all tasks
    • Register, update, and delete request details in internal systems
    • Verify invoice details from carriers and data centers and register them in the system
    • Perform regular data cleansing of system information
    • Participate in regular meetings

What we're looking for

  • Must haves:
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Native-level Japanese proficiency (N1 level)
    • Experience in customer-facing roles with Japanese corporate clients, conducted in Japanese
    • Basic skills in document creation and data handling using Microsoft Excel, Office 365, and PowerPoint
    • Ability to work from a customer-centric perspective
    • Ability to identify challenges and proactively take action to resolve them in order to achieve goals
    • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
    • Comfortable working in an English-speaking environment (no aversion to English)
  • Nice to haves:
    • Preferably 3+ years of customer-facing experience in the telecommunications industry
    • Preferably hands-on experience in data centers with fiber installation and network setup (Layer 1–Layer 2)
    • Basic knowledge of telecommunications
    • English language proficiency
