If you are an experienced sales professional who thrives in complex, multi‑stakeholder customer environments, Copeland has an opportunity for you. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; Develop deep understanding of customer strategy to champion appropriate support needs and product opportunities; Collaborate with and orchestrate internal account team members (e.g., Systems Engineer, Application Engineer, etc.) to ensure value propositions are appropriately delivered.
Key Responsibilities :
•Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key HVAC, Cold Chain & Comfort Controls, Dixell stakeholders
•Develop deep understanding of customer strategy to champion appropriate support needs and HVAC-R product opportunities
•Collaborate with and orchestrate internal account team members (e.g., Systems Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, etc.) to ensure value propositions are appropriately delivered
•Conduct periodic account planning to strategically identify expansion & cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with regional Sales Managers
•Lead contract and pricing negotiations with OEM customers
•Manage pipeline of opportunities, including recording as required in CRM or other tools
•Serve as main point of contact for set of assigned accounts; route inquiries as necessary to Customer Success Reps
•Conduct regular field visits to better understand customer processes and needs
•Actively engages to stay updated on HVACR industry trends and competitor activity
Requirements :
Educational Background: BS/BA – University graduate preferred
Professional Qualifications:
Major in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred
Over 5 years’ experience for HVACR Sales environment
Requirements and Attributes: Good spoken & written English; Proficiency in computer skill; Good at utilizing Microsoft office (Excel and Powerpoint); Communicative leader
