We are looking for a Manager, Portfolio Operations & Integrated Planning to join our team to work across multiple exciting projects with the most-talented game companies in the world. This is an on-site role in Burbank, CA.

What You Will Do:

  • Work directly with the Director, Portfolio Operations & Integrated Planning to assist in planning and execution in all operations, portfolio and integrated planning matters. 
  • Work closely with the full Portfolio Operations & Integrated Planning team in execution of all operations, portfolio and integrated planning matters. 
  • Collaborate with the product development team to maintain game release and marketing calendars, live events/DLC content roadmaps and help identify potential portfolio risks/conflicts, as well as provide solutions to impending portfolio conflicts. 
  • Lead the work in maintaining, evaluating and updating Marvel’s extensive IP database, game rosters, and character grants across all products across Console/PC, mobile and xR (Extended Reality), review and track usage rights and conflicts across all key franchises such as Spider-Man, Avengers, X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy, Fantastic Four and more 
  • Help identify, develop, plan and execute mutually beneficial cross-functional initiatives between Marvel Games and other internal teams such as Consumer Products, Synergy, Publishing, Themed Entertainment, Disney Studios, Integrated Sponsorships. 
  • Plan and execute regular company-wide content updates, decks and reports to provide cross-line-of-business visibility into the Marvel Games portfolio and priorities 
  • Lead the work in maintaining the team’s library of master operating documents that are vital to the business’s continuity 
  • Handle other increasingly challenging projects as appropriate 

Basic Qualifications and Skills:

  • Familiar with the Industry – 5 years of functional work experience in the games industry or similar, preferably in business development, integrated planning, partnerships, or synergy at a major game developer, publisher or platform. 
  • Multi-Disciplined – You are versatile and familiar with numerous aspects of game making and publishing: business development, project management, production, tech, sales, marketing, PR, social media, monetization, and live services. 
  • Thoughtful – You take ownership over your projects and are always figuring out newer and better ways to do your job smarter, faster, and more efficiently. You have a willingness to learn and embrace new ideas that optimize and potentially diversify the way we operate.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $115,500-$154,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
