Job Description
- Understand the use of function of molding auxiliary equipment (grinder, dyer, blender, etc.)
- Read and understand parts, prints, and drawings
- Able to use measuring devise, (i.e. calipers, height, gage, etc.)
- Safe use of overhead cranes
- Perform general maintenance on injection machines and tooling.
- Assist the quality department in solving root cause analysis.
- Operate a sit-down forklift
- Complete process changeover check-sheets
- Follow safety protocols regarding lockout-tagout, hazardous materials, and all other safety programs.
- Supervise / oversee shift production operators.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment.
- Ability to read/write English and comprehend detailed instructions.
- Must be a team player and have good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to solve problems with few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to process various resins, primarily poly vinyl chloride.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 7 -10 or more years of experience
- Walking / Standing 100% of time worked
- Able to climb stairs, stoop
- Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs.
- Must have dexterity to use hand and automatic tools.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
