Job Description
App Support Engineer L2 Jr
Requirements:
Must Have
- Java
- Unix/Shell scripting development
- Windows based application support activities
- Read logs
- Troubleshoot software issues
- Provide solutions
- Work with a team
- Able to cover different shifts according to team's needs (shifts: 8:00 - 17:00, 13:00 - 20:00, at least once a week (Fridays) someone in the team has to cover the third shift: 15:00 - 23:00)
- Willing to eventually and often cover weekend. (rotation is stablished, so this is not a permanent shift for just one in the team, they rotate)
- Able to have a good conversation in English and able to write a good email and/or document.

Responsabilities:
- Provide application support for systems running on Java, Unix/Linux, and Windows environments.
- Read and analyze application and system logs to identify issues and anomalies.
- Troubleshoot software incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Provide timely and effective solutions to application-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and improve system performance.
- Communicate with customers and stakeholders via email and phone to address technical issues.
- Document incidents, solutions, and technical procedures clearly.
- Participate in shift-based support, including rotation schedules and occasional weekend coverage.
- Support a customer-oriented service approach, ensuring clear and effective communication.
