Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Purchasing & Inventory Control
Order and maintain appropriate quantities of parts, consumables, and tools to site specifications.
Conduct stocktakes and cycle counts, ensuring accurate records within BPCS/ERP systems.
Record all inventory movements promptly and accurately.
Chemicals
Manage chemical lockup and consumable chemical stocks.
Maintain accurate records and compliance with handling and storage procedures.
Store Housekeeping
Maintain the store in a clean, hygienic, and organised condition at all times.
Remove tools/materials after use to prevent product contamination.
Compliance & Safety
Comply with GMP, OHS, Lock Out Tag Out, and site food safety policies.
Identify and escalate risks to safety or quality.
Support to Maintenance/Production
Provide timely parts and consumables to engineering, electrical, and production teams.
Work closely with external suppliers to source and negotiate parts.
Decision-Making
Decide on stock levels within set parameters.
Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues.
Recommend cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
About you:
Intermediate computer skills (ERP, BPCS, Excel).
Knowledge of purchasing and inventory systems.
Chemical handling training/awareness.
Safety- and GMP-conscious, reliable, organised, and self-motivated.
Works well both independently and in a team.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Ability to perform manual handling and physical work.
'Can do' attitude; strong alignment with company values; ability to work hands-on, unsupervised, and meet deadlines; ability to participate in callouts; commitment to ensuring production line availability and efficiency.
Ability to effectively plan and manage through change within large enterprise organizations
Ability to support a continuous operation (24 hrs, 7 days per week)
