GSOC Watch Officer (Intelligence Analyst)
Location: Annapolis, MD
Position Overview
Reporting to the Embedded Intelligence Services (EIS) GSOC Intelligence Manager, the GSOC Watch Officer (Intelligence Analyst) plays a critical role in delivering real-time intelligence and operational support within the client’s Global Security Operations Center (GSOC).
This position directly supports the client’s global risk management program by monitoring emerging threats, assessing impact, and enabling informed decision-making. The role is based in Crisis24’s Annapolis office and operates on a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Occasional travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor global events, security incidents, and Crisis24 intelligence feeds to identify and assess risks to client personnel, assets, and operations
Respond to incidents and crisis situations, applying sound judgment in accordance with established SOPs
Track and support travel risk management, including monitoring high-risk destinations and conducting traveler check-ins
Escalate time-sensitive intelligence and risk updates to client stakeholders
Produce clear, concise written and verbal intelligence assessments leveraging OSINT and internal resources
Deliver briefings to client security teams and business leaders
Triage and respond to client requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information and support
Maintain situational awareness of the client’s global footprint to anticipate emerging risks and requirements
Collaborate with internal GSOC teams to ensure seamless operations and information sharing
Support the development and continuous improvement of client-specific processes, protocols, and deliverables
Maintain operational metrics and contribute to regular reporting requirements
Assist in the development of briefings, reports, and client-facing materials
Build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders
Provide surge support during high-tempo or crisis-driven operations
Perform additional responsibilities in support of the client program as required
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred
Experience
2–4 years of experience in intelligence analysis, threat assessment, incident response, or a related field
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess complex, fast-moving situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including briefing senior stakeholders
Experience with OSINT collection and analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with mapping and geospatial tools (e.g., Google Earth, Google Maps)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and with clients
Foreign language skills and international experience are a plus
Customer-facing experience preferred

Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as needed
Compensation: This role offers a base salary range of $62,000 – $67,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
