What You'll Do
Cook I team members support meal preparation and kitchen operations while maintaining high standards for food quality, safety, and sanitation.
Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, following recipes, assisting with meal production, organizing food storage areas, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring food is prepared and stored according to food safety standards. You'll work closely with the culinary team to help provide residents with quality meals and exceptional service every day.
What You Bring
- Previous food service experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and portion guidelines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to perform basic math, measurements, and recipe conversions
- Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain upon hire
- Ability to complete HACCP training
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Dependable, positive, and willing to learn
