Responsibilities
- Perform a range of ultrasound examinations per department protocol and physician orders, with attention to image quality and patient safety.
- Prepare patients for procedures, position them appropriately, and explain the process to alleviate anxiety.
- Operate ultrasound equipment, optimize imaging parameters, and maintain proper equipment safety practices.
- Acquire, label, and store images in the Epic electronic medical record system; ensure accurate measurements for interpretation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other members of the care team to communicate findings and ensure timely reporting.
- Maintain and sanitize equipment, manage supplies, and adhere to facility policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements
- Active California license in hand
- Copy of certifications required at submission
- Epic charting experience or proficiency with Epic
- Demonstrated ultrasound skills and ability to perform general ultrasound examinations
- Willingness to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated facilities as needed
