Lactation Consultant

The Lactation Consultant is responsible to educate, develop, maintain, evaluate and lead the ongoing Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) program while providing lactation management services to expectant and new parents. These functions are performed in accordance with the hospital’s philosophy, policies, procedures and standards. She will be involved in the overall hospital breastfeeding program development and coordination, as well as direct patient care.
