Assistant Safety Manager - Transportation Business Partner - Valley Metro

Role purpose: Responsible for supporting the Transportation Department to ensure a strong operational/ safety partnership. Primary representative for all client and internal reporting needs which includes producing clear, accurate and consistent reporting around all accidents, incidents and events both internally and externally to client partners. Ensures timeliness on all reporting to ensure submittal before required deadlines. Ensure thorough, accurate and timely incidents, accidents and workers compensation investigations. Consistently ensures follow-up on open automotive vehicle claims, workers compensation claims, and effective management of transitional duty workers. Provides backup support to the Assistant Director of Safety as required.
