Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Title Clerk with prior Pennsylvania dealership titling experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and knowledgeable in Pennsylvania vehicle title and registration processes. This role is responsible for processing automotive documents accurately and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vehicle titles, registrations, transfers, and license plate work through the Pennsylvania DOT system
- Prepare and submit title paperwork for new and used vehicle sales
- Verify completeness and accuracy of all deal documents
- Process payoff checks and lien releases
- Maintain title tracking and inventory records
- Handle out-of-state title transactions when necessary
- Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania state regulations and dealership policies
- Communicate with customers, banks, and state agencies regarding title status and corrections
- Assist accounting office with related administrative tasks as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management

Skills & Qualifications
- Required: Previous Pennsylvania automotive dealership titling experience
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania title and registration procedures
- Experience with dealer management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
