Job Description
This role is focused on hunting and acquiring new corporate accounts, developing strategic customer relationships, and driving revenue growth within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new customers through direct sales activities including cold calling, networking, referrals, face-to-face meetings, and market engagement activities.
- Develop and expand new business opportunities within the Southern region market, with strong understanding of local customer landscape, industry trends, and competitive environment.
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end sales and tendering process, ensuring compliance with company policies, pricing structure, and contract governance guidelines.
- Drive new business development and manage successful onboarding and implementation of newly acquired customers to ensure smooth transition and customer satisfaction.
- Qualify prospects based on company-defined customer criteria, business potential, and strategic sales fit.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and business growth objectives set by Management.
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, pipeline status, market updates, and customer engagement through CRM and internal reporting tools.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to Management on customer trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, market opportunities, and unmet customer needs.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders including operations, customer service, finance, and implementation teams to ensure excellent customer experience.
- Demonstrate strong hunter mentality with high level of initiative, resilience, urgency, and accountability in driving new customer acquisition.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties or assignments as assigned by Management from time to time.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of B2B sales or key account management experience with proven track record in new business acquisition.
- Strong exposure and understanding of Southern Malaysia market dynamics and business ecosystem.
- Experience in corporate sales, solution selling, or enterprise account management is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel extensively within assigned territory.
