Job Summary
The Event Cleaning Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during and after the FIFA Fan Fest. This role supports high-traffic operations by providing continuous cleaning services throughout the event and ensuring thorough post-event cleanup to restore the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all event areas, including fan zones, restrooms, walkways, and common spaces throughout operating hours
- Perform continuous trash removal, recycling, and waste management to support high-volume crowds
- Clean and restock restrooms and high-touch surfaces to ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are met
- Respond quickly to spills, hazards, and service requests during live event operations
- Perform post-event cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, pressure washing, and site restoration
- Always follow assigned cleaning schedules and safety protocols
- Assist with setup and breakdown cleaning for event areas as needed
- Communicate issues or supply needs to supervisors promptly
- Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and high-demand event periods
Qualifications
- Prior cleaning or event support experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Team-oriented with a focus on customer service
